ABOUT THE WORK
Exclusive to NICEART, the LOVE print was created with a set of six large geometric stamps. As with a lot of prints I create in this style the idea usually develops from experimenting directly with the stamps and seeing what comes out of it. Will had already come up with a more complicated heart design but wanted to incorporate the image into something more typographic. After trying a few different ideas to get the type to balance well with the heart and found the more he simplified the design the stronger the idea came across. The colour palette was developed with NICEART and printed as a limited edition, signed 28 x 28cm. risograph.

Will is a graphic artist, designer and maker
